Kevin Cain is a content marketing and communications strategist who has spent his career working in the financial services and consulting industries.
Most recently, he was the Director of Content Strategy at OpenView Venture Partners, a venture capital firm in Boston, where he led the firm’s significant content marketing program and consulted to its more than 20 portfolio companies an array of content strategy and marketing issues. Prior to joining OpenView, he spent more than five years as the Managing Editor at State Street Corporation, one of the world’s leading providers of financial services to institutional investors. In that capacity, he managed the company’s thought leadership publication series. Earlier in his career, Kevin worked for the accounting firm KPMG and for Charles River Associates, a large international economic consulting firm. He has previously lived and worked in Boston, Munich, Berlin, and Hong Kong. He currently resides in Sydney, Australia, where he consults to businesses on strategic content marketing and communications issues.
Kevin has written for Forbes, Inc.com, The Content Marketing Institute, MarketingProfs, and Social Media Today. While at OpenView Venture Partners, he also authored and published a comprehensive guide to content marketing called “It Takes a Content Factory! A Guide to Creating and Delivering the Content that Your Company Needs to Attract and Retain Great Customers.“
